Why using the menstrual cup Mamicup?
STOP to chemical substances on your vaginal mucosa: no bleach, no dioxin, no additives, no perfumes, no absorbing gels, no pesticides, no phthalates... Mamicup is made of 100% certified medical grade silicone. It is suitable for the most sensible women, as does not contain latex.
STOP to dryness caused by tampons that absorb not only your flow, but your vaginal secretions, too, altering your vaginal PH
STOP to irritations, discomfort, inflammations, dampness
STOP to worry and fear of leaking: empty your Mamicup only 4 to 8 hours. It gives you three times more independence than a traditional pad or tampon.
STOP to cumbersome packets: Mamicup is suitable for the day and the night for the whole period. On a journey, you simply put a little bag in your suitcase.
STOP to giving up: with Mamicup you can do what you want, carefree: plunge into the water and come out with no need to change your pad or tampon, do all sports, be active as you like. Your period is no longer a limitation!
STOP to emergencies: anywhere you are with your Mamicup, you are confident when your period suddenly arrives and do not need to rush to the supermarket...
STOP to monthly purchasing: with one Mamicup you will manage your period month after month with no extra purchase. And Mamicup lasts several years: think about the money you will save!
STOP to monthly rubbish: one Mamicup is enough for 10 years. No pads, tampons, plastic applicators, bags, plastic bands to throw away. This unrecyclable waste needs several years to decompose and clogs dumps or ends up in the sea. Each year 45.000 million pads and tampons are thrown away worldwide. Give a hand to the environment: choose Mamicup!
STOP to deforestation: all over the world, every day, millions of trees are chopped down to produce disposable pads and tampons. Mamicup is made of medical grade silicone, which comes from two abundantly available elements: silica and arenaceous.

I have recently had a baby. Should I change my Mamicup?
Probably you should, if you delivered vaginally you should now use size L (a baby passing through your vagina may change its form).
If you delivered by caesarean section you can keep using size M.
Size L looks too big. I have no children. Should I buy size M?
No. There is a small difference between the diameters of the two sizes (a few millimetres only), but size M cup could not have the right sealing effect and leak.
I am 29 and never had children. Which size should I order?
Since mamicup lasts several years, we suggest you buy size L.
I’m younger than 30 but my flow is very heavy. Should I choose size L?
It does not matter how heavy your flow, but how high the tone of your pelvic floor is (the muscles that help keeping the cup in right).
The right size for you is M. You will only need to empty it more frequently.
If you are younger than 30 e never delivered vaginally, choose size M.
If you are older than 30, or younger than 30 but have delivered vaginally, size L is the right one.
do not leave the boiling pot unattended. If you burn your cup when the pot boils dry, your cup may be ruined
be carefully with needles and pins to clear the holes: you may spoil the cup
do not leave your Mamicup in the sun
do not store your Mamicup in a plastic bag/case: it won’t “breathe”
do not wash your Mamicup in the dishwasher
do not use strong or scented soaps to wash your Mamicup
do not use essential oils (such as tea tree), vinegar, chemical substances, lubricants, alcohol to clean it
Over time, the colour of your Mamicup may fade. This happens to all menstrual cups, no matter the brand, but does not compromise its efficacy at all.
The 4 holes under the rim of your Mamicup help to release the seal and are very important to the good use of the cup.
We recommend checking that they are always open and not occluded.
If needed, pass a needle or a pin through each hole.
